How I review the Lovense male lineup

Max 2, Calor, Gush 2 and Solace Pro are four very different machines — heating vs air-pump vs thrusting. Here's the standard I hold every verdict to, where the numbers come from, and what I deliberately won't pretend.

Straight up: I'm Victoria Andersen, a real person who runs this site — not a lab. I don't bench-test these toys with instruments, and I won't dress up a spec sheet as a hands-on test. My job is to make a confusing, fast-changing lineup easy to choose from: I compile Lovense's published specs, distil what verified buyers actually report, and weigh the four toys against each other — clearly marking what's a manufacturer figure, what's owner consensus, and what's my opinion.

How I rate a male toy

Six factors, weighted for this category specifically.

What I won't do

I won't invent measurements I didn't take or present a Lovense rating as my own test. I won't accept free product or sponsorship in exchange for a score. I won't inflate a verdict toward the bigger commission — and I won't pad a page with filler to chase keywords. If I can't verify something, I say so.
